Recital FAQs

What time should I arrive?: 10-15 minutes prior to the start time

How long does the performance last?: Approximately 45 minutes

Where is it?: John P. Fishwick Rehabilitation Facility. The address is 3837 Brandon Ave, Roanoke, VA 24018. All visitors must sign in when entering for security purposes.

Parking: There is plenty of parking!

What do the performers wear?: Recitals are an important event in a student’s musical development, so we do ask our students to dress nicely. Suits and more formal dresses are also welcome, just make sure that it is something that the student would be comfortable to perform in. Festive Christmas attire is encouraged!

What do we bring?: Sheet Music! Your teacher will have a copy of your music in case it is forgotten.

Can we take pictures and video?: Absolutely! Please do not use flash though while the students are performing.

Is there an admission charge?: The recital is free and open to the public. Please invite friends and family members too!

The recital experience is a crucial part of any performers development. I congratulate your child on participating and we all look forward to their performance!
