On Saturday, August 23rd at 6:30pm, our Summer Recital will take place at 1401 Cleveland Ave, Roanoke, VA 24016. All pieces are either being played as improvisational (making music up on the spot) or are one of the students’ favorites. Our students will perform their pieces for us in the main sanctuary. Pizza for $2 a slice and drinks will be provided after.

Recital FAQs

What time should I arrive?: 10-15 minutes prior to the start time

How long does the performance last?: Approximately 60 minutes

Where is it?: At the studio! 1401 Cleveland Ave, Roanoke, VA 24016. We will be performing in the sanctuary.

Parking: There is parking across the street. A parking sign will be there to guide you.

What do the performers wear?: Recitals are an important event in a student’s musical development, so we do ask our students to dress nicely. Suits and more formal dresses are also welcome, just make sure that it is something that the student would be comfortable to perform in.

What do we bring?: Sheet Music! I will have a copy of everyone’s in case they forget it.

Can we take pictures and video?: Absolutely! Please do not use flash while the students are performing. I also record each recital so if you would like a copy of your child’s performance, please email info@roanokemusicschool.com.

Is there an admission charge?: The recital is free and open to the public. Please invite friends and family members too!

The recital experience is a crucial part of any performers development. I congratulate your child on participating and we all look forward to their performance!
