Maternity Leave
I would like to introduce everyone to Abby Ray, the wonderful and talented woman who will be taking over for me during my maternity leave. Below is her bio! Everyone will have a chance to meet her at the studio during lessons in the months of October and November, as she will be sitting in on the lessons to make for an easy and smooth transition.
“Hello everyone! My name is Abby Ray. I’m a music and animal enthusiast. My favorite compositions are Dvorak’s cello concerto in B minor and Beethoven’s 7th Symphony, 2nd Movement. My favorite animals are chickens and goats, such useful, funny critters!
Music has been a huge and important part of my life since the beginning. I’ve been playing piano for about 15 years, cello for 11, ad singing for as long as I can remember! I’m so excited to meet you all and step in for Jaina while she’s on maternity leave!“

Fall Recital
Our Fall Recital was such a blast last year that we’re doing it again! Like last year, it will be held outside at the studio, 1401 Cleveland Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24016, using the outdoor stage. The event will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024. There will be games, crafts, a food truck/caterer and not to mention live music from our students! If you are interested in performing, please send us an email at info@codingtonmusicstudio.com. Mark your calendars! We hope to see you there!
