🎶Summer Recital Recap
Our Summer Recital was such a special evening! We loved getting to celebrate our students and see all of their hard work come to life on stage. From first-time performers to returning students, we were so proud of the confidence, preparation, and growth we saw in each performance.
Thank you to all of our students, families, and teachers for helping make the recital such a meaningful event. We’re already excited to see how much everyone continues to grow this fall!
We Hit 52 Students!
August brought a really exciting milestone for Roanoke Music School — we officially reached 52 students!
What started as just me teaching lessons out of my home has grown into a school filled with students, families, and teachers who make this place so special. We are incredibly grateful for every family who has trusted us with their child’s music education, shared our name with a friend, or encouraged someone to give lessons a try.
We’ve also been giving RMS a fresh look! We recently had new photos taken and updated our website to better reflect how much the school has grown. If you haven’t visited it in a while, take a peek!

What’s New This Fall 🍂
We’re excited to offer even more lesson options this fall! As Roanoke Music School continues to grow, we’re expanding our schedule to make lessons more accessible for different families and schedules.
🎹 Earlier weekday lessons with Lydia — including daytime availability that’s perfect for homeschool students, retirees, or anyone looking for a lesson outside of the after-school rush.
🎸 More guitar availability — we’re in the process of adding another guitar teacher to meet the growing demand for guitar lessons!
📅 More Friday + NEW Saturday lessons — giving families even more flexibility when choosing a weekly lesson time.
We’re so excited to continue growing while making it easier for students of all ages and schedules to find a time that works for them!
